The precision machined, chrome-moly steel barrel is button rifled and chrome lined so that El Jefe delivers accuracy, dependability, and long life. Chambered in 5.56 NATO, the barrel and gas system allows El Jefe to handle all types of duty-grade ammunition.
Functionality
The trigger featured on El Jefe is the well-known and acclaimed ALG ACT trigger. The feel of the ACT is similar to a standard mil-spec trigger but with a sharper, and cleaner break. Our trigger features a nickel Teflon-coated hammer and disconnect along with a Nickel-plated trigger component for excellent wear resistance.
Value
El Jefe is built as an upgraded mil-spec package, featuring several Geissele components, and is designed to be a superior starter rifle with great value! Included are the GI-issued sling, MLOK QD attachment, 2 QD Sling Swivels, and a Warner and Swasey red dot optic.
