Attention SIG SAUER Academy Customers 

Background and pre-screen checks have experienced an increase in processing cost. Beginning September 1, 2023, the fee for a standard background check will increase from $42.50 to $50.50. Similarly, the fee for pre-screen checks will increase from $5.00 to $13.00.

Mandatory background checks apply to all students who do not possess a concealed carry permit/license to carry and are not law enforcement/active military. These background checks remain valid for a duration of one year.

For students holding a valid concealed carry permit/license to carry, a pre-screen check is required. These pre-screen checks are also valid for one year.

Law enforcement/active military with proper identification and badging do not have to complete a background check or pre-screen.
