The T.V. series, Dragnet, first appeared in 1949 and was last aired in 2003. It was one of the best cop shows ever produced. In that series L.A.P.D.’s Joe Friday, played by John Randolph Webb, often said:
“You’re a cop, a flatfoot, a bull, a dick, John Law, you’re the Fuzz, the heat, . They call you everything, but never a policeman…
…there are over 5,000 men in this city who know that being a policeman is an endless, glamourless, thankless job that’s gotta be done. I know it, too, and I’m damn glad to be one of them.”
It’s 2023 and nothing has changed for our law enforcement community, but now they won’t be doing it in the dark thanks to Streamlight and their 2,000 lumen rechargeable ProTac 2.0. Read my upcoming review.
