GPO USA is not yet a household name for optics, but this Virginia based corporation produces a very impressive line of high-performance optics that includes: rifle scopes, red dot sight, laser range finders, binoculars and spotting scopes. In this review, I share my thoughts about the GPOTAC 6X 1-6x24i LPVO, a member of its Tactical Optics family, which is possibly one of the best low power variable optics on the market.

This high performance LPVO features every desirable characteristic of any high-performance optic. GPOTAC 6X 1-6x24i’s optical clarity and resolution are exceptional, precise point of impact adjustment, precise reticle illumination under any lighting condition, an extremely comfortable eye relief of 4 inches, and the HSi-CQB first focal plane tactical reticle that is both accurate and extremely fast. All of this packaged in an overall length of 10.6 inches weighing a mere 614 grams (21.6 oz).
