L3Harris Showcases VAMPIRETM and WESCAM MXTM-8 Capabilities at SOF Week

VAMPIRE

L3Harris’ Vehicle-Agnostic Modular Palletized ISR Rocket Equipment (VAMPIRE) is a low-cost, vehicle agnostic, rapid weapon deployment solution that gives ground forces the ability to quickly and accurately engage targets. The Department of Defense announced VAMPIRE as part of security assistance package under the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative in August 2022.

VAMPIRE also features the WESCAM MX-10 RSTA electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) independent stabilized sighting system. The WESCAM MX-10 RSTA provides ISR overmatch and is ideal for reconnaissance, surveillance and target acquisition missions from amphibious, armored combat and reconnaissance vehicles.

WESCAM MX-8 EO/IR Sensor System

L3Harris’ fully digital, ultra-low-weight WESCAM MX-8 EO/IR system is integrated on Vanilla Unmanned’s UAS platform providing fully stabilized and high-performance imaging under demanding and dynamic conditions. The WESCAM MX-8 provides operators with superior situational awareness and tracking capabilities for ISR missions. VAMPIRE integrates WESCAM MX-10 RSTA.
