Warthog Sharpeners Goes from Classic—to Elite!

Baton Rouge, LA (October 25, 2022)- The V-Sharp CLASSIC II ELITE is the same extremely popular Warthog Sharpeners flagship, Classic II, with an added flair that genuinely makes it stand out from the crowd in home kitchens, at hunt camp, and even the deck boat!
The V-Sharp CLASSIC II ELITE is equipped with three adjustable quick snap angles (20°, 25°, and 30°). It features two 325-grit double-sided diamond rods and finishing steels that simultaneously sharpen both sides of the blade. The sharpener weighs a little more than 1 pound and has a hand-crafted metal frame and powder-coated finish. Warthog has changed the base of this classic by fitting it with a solid wooden base. Four rubber pads also keep the unit stable and protect the surface beneath. The wooden base adds to the overall presentation while keeping everything steady and solid.
How It Works
Draw the blade back in a slicing motion entirely through and out of the sharpener, keeping the blade flat against the blade guide. This motion is all it takes to achieve a consistent angle from the heel to the tip of the blade. After sharpening to a keen edge, turn the hones over with the steel facing up, and increase the angle by one notch (5°) to finish the blade to a razor edge.
The next time you get a Warthog sharpener—make it ELITE!
