Abstracts Now Accepted | January 21 Deadline
The National Defense Industrial Association’s (NDIA) Undersea Warfare Division invites authors of high-quality professional abstracts to submit their work for technical presentation at the 2022 Undersea Warfare Spring Conference, scheduled for March 28 – 30, 2022, in San Diego, CA. Each abstract must be UNCLASSIFIED and cleared for public release with unlimited distribution (Distribution A). Each abstract should fit into one of the following Technical Sessions:
- Aviation Systems
- C4I
- Combat Systems
- Mine Warfare
- Undersea Sensors
- Undersea Vehicles
- Warfighter Performance
Individuals are required to submit a concise abstract of 5,000 characters or less by Friday, January 21. Authors will be notified whether their abstract has been accepted by January 28. Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information
The 2022 Undersea Warfare Spring Conference planning team continues to monitor the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) situation as the health of our event participants, members, and partners remains our top priority. We are committed to following the guidelines and precautions as outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Attendees can expect to see the following at the 2022 Undersea Warfare Spring Conference:
PROOF OF VACCINATION: All attendees will be required to provide proof of vaccination within 72 hours prior to badge pick-up or a negative COVID-19 test administered by a medical professional.
MASKS: Fully vaccinated attendees are encouraged to wear face masks but, in accordance with CDC guidance, may make that choice for themselves. If you are not fully vaccinated, you are required to wear a face mask in public places.
WAIVER: All registrants are required to sign the COVID-19 waiver during the online registration process. Attendees may disclose their vaccination status at the time of signing.
SOCIAL DISTANCING: Additional venue space will be available to allow for attendees to spread out. Additional breaks have been added to allow for air circulation.
