Aircraft 2021 Postponed

The NDIA Combat Survivability Division would like to announce that due to unforeseen circumstances, the 2021 Aircraft Survivability Symposium in Monterey, CA, originally scheduled from November 2 – 4, 2021 will now take place in February 2022. Please watch for a forthcoming announcement of the final dates.

For registered attendees look for future communications about your registration. Registrations will automatically be forwarded to the new dates when they are confirmed. If you wish to cancel and receive a refund now, please contact Andrew Peters at apeters@NDIA.org.

For attendees who have booked hotel accommodations within the event room block at the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa Del Monte Golf Course, if you booked within the symposium block, the hotel will automatically cancel your reservation, and you will need to create a new reservation for the February dates (when available).

For speakers, Jae Yu will reach out directly to you to confirm if you are available for the new symposium dates and provide more information.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information

The Aircraft Survivability Symposium planning team will continue to monitor the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) situation as the health of our event participants, members, and partners remains our top priority. We are committed to following the guidelines and precautions as outlined by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Current guidelines for The Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) are below but are subject to change for the rescheduled February dates:

FORM DD 3150: The Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) is requiring all attendees and speakers to attest to their vaccination status via Form DD 3150. Please note, NPS is NOT accepting negative COVID test results in lieu of this document. All attendees must be fully vaccinated to gain access to NPS, no exceptions.
PROOF OF VACCINATION: All attendees will be required to provide proof of vaccination within 72 hours of arrival. Details for securely providing documentation will be provided shortly on the event website.
MASKS: The Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) has announced that all people must wear a face mask indoors regardless of vaccination status. Accordingly, all participants at the Aircraft Survivability Symposium will be required to wear face masks at all times, except when actively eating or drinking. Please plan ahead and bring your own face mask. A very limited supply of disposable masks will be available onsite.
WAIVER: All registrants are required to sign the COVID-19 waiver during the online registration process. Attendees may disclose their vaccination status at the time of signing.
SOCIAL DISTANCING: Additional venue space will be available to allow for attendees to spread out. Timed badge pick-ups will be implemented to reduce crowding at registration.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE: Food and beverage areas will be designed to minimize touch points utilizing individually packaged or attended stations.

For a full list of precautions to expect at the Aircraft Survivability Symposium please visit our event Health and Safety FAQs.
