JAPAN SEEKING STRONGER TIES WITH THE ‘FIVE EYES ALLIANCE’:
UK, US, CANADA, AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND

Japan is eager to expand co-operation with the “Five Eyes” intelligence-sharing alliance that includes the UK, the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Japan’s defence minister Taro Kono has expressed hopes for the framework that would allow the country to obtain key classified information at an early stage. Read more here.
