This week Paul Levy, chief of the Brownells product acquisition team, shows us the long and the short of hot new firearm releases. The KC9 from Ed Brown is a super slim, compact 1911 chambered in 9mm Luger (9x19mm) that’s all about daily carry. All-stainless steel, G10 grips, distinctive Snakeskin checkering on the mainspring housing and front-strap, external extractor for added reliability, bushing-free bull barrel, and a Trijicon HD fiber optic / Tritium front sight. Of course, the KC9 also has a sweet Ed Brown trigger and the shop’s legendary workmanship. On the other end of the size scale, Paul has the SRM Arms M1216 shotgun. The name says it all: a 12 gauge with 16 shots in a rotary magazine up front that also serves as the forearm. With acres of Picatinny rails for mounting ANY and ALL accessories you need, the M1216 embodies the word “intimating”!
