The Alien was hard at work for the company’s press event at Shot Show 2017. Alien Gear Holsters is well known to me and given the opportunity I describe the company’s Tuck 3 as the most comfortable IWB holster on the market.
This coming summer, the company will go modular with their new ShapeShift Modular Holster System. Alien Gear CEO Thomas Teddar described the new modular holster system as something no one else has ever created. The ShapeShift System will allow you to buy a single scabbard then attach it to multiple mountings.

The plan is to have product available the Summer of 2017. The product launch will be in starter kit form consisting of two IWB holsters ,hip and appendix, and two OWB holsters, paddle and slide. The remaining holster options will see market entry throughout the remainder of 2017. Initially the ShapeShift Holster System will be available for 10 of the most popular handguns. Mr. Teddar’s goals are to support 25-40 handguns by year’s end. The ShapeShift System also comes with the Alien Gear Holsters 30-Day test drive and their forever warranty.
