Magpul Industries is adding two AR tools to their product portfolio that will make your build somewhat easier. The Magpul® Armorer’s Wrench – AR15/M4 and BEV™ Block – AR15/M4 both of which will be available in the October to November time frame.
The Magpul® Armorer’s Wrench is all steel and made in the U.S.A and features a couple of very cool tweaks. Aft of the barrel nut wrench, you find the receiver extension and castle nut wrench; upon examination of the castle nut wrench you’ll see a set of extended teeth that are designed to standoff an ASP sling mount so you can get at your receiver extension castle nut. The BEV™ Block (Barrel Extension Vise) is an all-in-one, Made in U.S.A., compact vise block tool for AR assembly operations of barrel nuts, flash hiders, that mounts in a vise and provides support for both billet and forged upper receivers. On side engages barrel extension with solid steel lugs and full length support shank to prevent flexing.
The BEV can also be turned over and used as a mag well vise block to support the lower receiver during maintenance, etc. M.S.R.P. $49.95
