The U.S. Navy Will Soon Be Issuing Flame Resistant Coveralls To Sailors Afloat.

The FRV coverall is made from 100 percent cotton treated with a flame retardant. It passed the Navy’s flame tests and the flame resistance properties did not decrease with wear or laundering for the life of coverall, which is about 18-24 months. Forces Afloat can expect to be issued, at no charge to them,  the FR coverall Q1 of 2014.
