I had the opportunity to check out Petzl’s Strix VL and the Strix IR at SHOT SHOW 2013 and subsequently at SOFIC 2012. I was impressed with a number of its features and its characteristically Petzl quality. The articulating head on the Strix lights make it possible to illuminate on any plane.
