In the midst of the Colt Defense protests, there was a great deal of scuttlebutt flying around. Quiet frankly, without a specific and detailed understanding of the protests and their legal basis, the topic cannot be addressed fairly and accurately, so that no one side is maligned.

To that end, I submitted a request for Colt’s (2) original  filings back on 29-Nov-2012. I received this response from the GAO this morning.
