Strike Industries based in Santa Ana, CA has announced the AKRR2. A highly advanced rendition of the company’s successful AKRR. The AKRR2 features a main base, 45 degree side rail, and extended rail. The main base serves as the attachment point to the rifle, a reference aiming gap and base for mounting the side rail, and extended rail. The base’s angle is adjustable via 3 hex socket screws. The 45 degree side Picatinny rail can be positioned on either the left or right side for complete ambidextrous use. It is ideal for many of the superb mini red dot sight in the market.
The extended Picatinny rail provides a generous mounting surface that extends rearward from the rear sight block, and can be used for an EO tech or Aimpoint sight. Some of the more compact magnified sights with extended eye relief could also work well in this arrangement. The AKRR2 is made from Aircraft 6061 Aluminum with hard coat anodize.
M.S.R.P. is $59.95 USD, which makes it an outstanding value.
