We are thinking through a few possible “fun” projects for 2012 and came up with the idea that a TV/Cable News Anchor Thong Contest would be pretty cool – figuratively speaking. We’d like for everything with this contest to be haut plateau and haut de la ligne.

The contest is open to male and female anchors and we’ll reach out to the global community of TV / Cable News, in the spirit of peace and brotherhood. We’re still working out the details on the prizes but it will be something of a personalized tactical nature – lights, packs, tactical pens etc.

Participants will be asked to submit pictures. All photos must be in good taste; however, it should be clearly visible that you are wearing a thong.  Feel free to use make up as needed and tattoos will not disqualify you, so don’t concern yourself with that.

Prospective contestant’s employers may have restrictions that prevent you from participating – simply let us know and we will provide you with a cover.

We’re still putting together a project plan so I don’t have a timeline and much of that will depend on the kind of response we get from our prospects.

I’d love to hear suggestions and ideas. If you have a special TV or cable anchor that you’d like to include – they don’t need to be Super Anchors – we’ll reach out to that individual. Remember, that this is open to any anchor in the global community at any level in their career.
