Advanced Digital Concealment Systems (DCS), developers of the A-TACS camouflage pattern, announced that work is nearly completed on the upcoming A-TACS Green Variant which will be called A-TACS FG.
“In just a few days, we will put a countdown clock on our
website that will also give the first hint at what the new pattern will look
like. When the countdown ends, the full pattern will be revealed. A-TACS FG is
built on the A-TACS platform using organic pixels and patterns within patterns,
but will be uniquely suited to the distinctive elements and shapes found in more
temperate environments. It will also be the first pattern of its kind to feature
simulated depth and multi-layering – further increasing the functional aspects
of the design. Several licensing partners will be showing the new A-TACS pattern at the 2012 Shot Show in January.”
Advanced Digital Concealment Systems developed a camouflage pattern around an organic pixel matrix that in our opinion has the best chance of becoming the U.S. Army’s UCP replacement into the future.
