Yankee Hill Machine Co., Inc (YHM) traces its roots back to 1951 when a couple of men, Wallace Judd and James Graham teamed to start their own machining facility. Over the years, the company grew to 50 employees and 40,000 square feet of manufacturing space; located in Florence, Massachusetts.
Before entering the suppressor business, YHM established itself as a leading manufacturer of carbine and rifle rail systems that were of high quality at a competitive price point. They expanded the product line to include, flash suppressors, rail accessories and suppressors.
YHM recognized the need for an affordable high quality suppressor for the commercial space. They teamed with Sound Technology and produced their first suppressor in 2005.
Today, YHM manufactures centerfire rifle, pistol and submachinegun suppressors in .45 ACP, .40 S&W, 9mm, 5.56, 6.8. 7.62 and 338 Lapua Magnum. The company also manufactures a complete line of rimfire suppressors as well as integral suppressors in .22 caliber.
Yankee Hill’s rifle suppressors are all a quick detach design using the company’s highly successful Phantom Flash Hider system, which holds the sound suppressor firmly in place and allows the sound suppressor to be removed by hand when no longer needed. A gas seal keeps the threads clean so the suppressor will not bind, making removal a breeze.
